Wireless Rain gauges?

#1 Postby Wxman52 » Thu Feb 19, 2004 6:38 pm

Hi all;
I have a question, hope it's ok to post on this fourm. I want to get a wireless rain gauge this spring. I seen the oregon scientific and the La Cross ones, but look great. Are there any others similar and what are good web sites or companys to buy these from? Thanks
Michael

I like the Rainwise one myself. Never used it, but know about the company.

I'd advise you to also make sure you have a manual one (at least 4" diameter") because you need a backup. You can get those for about $45 including shipping.

Good luck in your search.

Rainwise would be/is my choice also. I have one that I inherited from my dad which is broken(old too). I emailed them and all I have to do is ship it back to them along with $7 and they will fix/replace whatever is needed to get it back to working(it isn't wireless, but they have several on their website).
