Interesting Weather Report (from Florida)

#1 Postby ColdFront77 » Tue Feb 24, 2004 5:22 pm

Just heard this on my NOAA Weather Radio (NWS - Melbourne, FL) and
getting it from the data from the NWS website:

Vero Beach, FL: Current conditin at 4:53 pm EST...

Weather: Light Rain & Smoke
Temperature: 69°F
Dewpoint: 64°F
Pressure: 29.82 in.
Wind: NW at 12 G 22

Perhaps some leftover smoke from a small fire before the moisture moved in, but having enough of it while it is light raining?

Usually you'd see that after a large fire. Very interesting!
