Does anyone remember the March 1999 storm in MA?

The one I'm thinking of was the storm that NOBODY forecasted, except Sue Palka at the 10 pm news on Channel 5 and she wasn't real sure.

How does something like that get missed? We had maybe 8-10 inches that came out of nowhere!

Then it got warm, it melted and we had Spring.

I remember about 6 inches in Ohio around March 15 1999 (not sure which exact day) I could look up some archived stuff if you're really interested. That was a nice change after having a nearly snowless February, which was after a true snowstorm in January and heat wave in January.

March 9 is the day when it snowed in Ohio.

I have seen this happen many times in the past.

I also did see a major snow fall in April that dumped more then 8 inches many many years ago in my area.

Melted quickly but we had a major storm. :)
