Hello Storm 2K'ers..

I just thought I'd let you guys know what appears to be on tap for my weekend.

Saturday: I am going to go visit a couple friends that are in the hospital during the late morning. Then in the afternoon.. I am going to go bowl a game or 2. I have never bowled a whole game before.. Maybe I'll let you guys know what my final score is when I get back. I'm willing to bet I won't even break 100 LMAO

Sunday: As much as I like my evening church service.. I'll be going in the AM. Reason= Me and a friend are going to go watch the Magic take on Sacramento

My weekend sounds like fun..

John, I have trouble breaking 100 myself when I bowl (don't bowl that often)...the cigarette smoke odor in the air makes my allergy go nuts.

GO MAGIC!

I wish I could match your weekend. However, I work today and Sunday :( , going to probably go to church on Sunday morning . I guess I have company because my friend EMily also works.

At least it is going to be beautiful weekend in my neck of the woods! :D Lower 50s along with the first sun since LAST Saturday. It has been cloudy, rainy and sometimes stormy the past week.

Well guys.. Here's what happened.. I went bowling.. The games were 2.50 a piece, so I bowled all 6 games on the card.

My scores were these..

61, 68, 59, 67, 105, 91

In the 105 game.. I had a horrendous start but had a stretch where I had 3 frames in a row with either strikes or spares..

Alright John, good scores. I love bowling, have been in leagues for almost 30 years now.
Have a good time at the BBall game.
I can't match ya for fun, I'm at work all weekend.

My mom and I bowled today... first game she won 104 to 100, second game she won (I forget the score) and 3rd game I won 120 to 110! :D I was surprised at how good I did, breaking 100 2 out of the 3 games! :D

Sounds like both you and I are having great weekends John, and I hope you're having a great weekend as well Eric! :)

It has been GREAT, Colin! :D Late this morning/early afternoon period I was sitting in my family's van with my Dad (while Mom was shopping inside the local Wal-Mart Supercenter)...enjoyed watching the rain (light/moderate/heavy at times)...no thunder or lightning...but did have some wind gusts to 40 mph at times and watching to see where shopping carts were heading in the wind was interesting at times, too.   Fortunately no vehicles in motion in the lot met up with a cart! Also, had lunch at an Arby's (near Wal-Mart) with the folks...I had a Giant Roast Beef Sandwich, Cherry Turnover and Jamocha. :)

"CONGRATULATIONS COLIN & YOUR MOM!!!!" :D

Hope others here in the Storm2K Family are having a great weekend, too! :D

John, very good scores for playing your first whole games.

I have bowled candlepins a couple times in Massachusetts, (I understand Candlepins are only used in New England.) :)
I am not to enthused about playing; having to wear the special shoes is part of it.

There are two bowling alleys here in the community I live in. I have watched some family members play while visiting,
but haven't actually played here.
