Totals may be a bit too high on the southern portion around D.C. 66 degrees today, sticking may be a factor. Two inches may fall, but it will not stick with ground temps as high as they are.

Was thinking the same, but he only got more bullish with the first call... 6-12" for northern Loudoun County.

Chris - where are you? I have a vague recollection of asking you and you saying Hunterdon Co., but I could be wrong. DT and the NWS has my location being right at the epicenter of the snow-rain battleground, with "lower elevations" in Middlesex County slated for 1-2" and "higher elevations" (didn't know there were many high elevations in our county - after checking most of the towns, believe it or not, Metuchen at 117 feet is about the highest elevation town in the County) slated for 3-4" and the NWS has warnings only 20-30 miles NW of here, in Morris County, but also has areas 20-30 miles SE of here (coastal Monmouth County) as getting little or no snow.

Similarly, on DT's map, we're right smack dab in the middle of where the blue, yellow and pink meet. So we can expect anywhere from 1-12" of snow. Actually, we're probably about 10 miles SE of his pink, but it's close. Just a little shift in the track or a little more cold air and we could get hammered. Here's hoping.
