I believe it's a good product for those, such as myself who lose track of time because you are so busy. As a mother of 4 boys who think there is nothing else in the world other than tv, computer, and video games, this would help out a lot! However, it still wouldn't stop the fights among the boys! I don't think anything could do that!

I would prefer to monitor my kids' viewing habits instead of using this.

Seems good in theory, but kids are good at finding loopholes. "He was watching it too, so I get some of his time."

We have the kids tv, the xbox, the nintendo, and both computers in the living room. It's easy to see what they're doing.

I agree with Ed. If I am aware of my children, then I can monitor what they are doing. I don't need,nor want a computer program or something of that sort to watch my children. That's why I work at home and my wife stays at home. If we wanted someone else to raise our children, they would be at daycare or public school.
