uhh, lets get real. i think what we are seeing here is sadr realizing we wont leave iraq. this is a victory for bush if this really happens. one condition is we should demand the ones who killed the americans be turned over to us.

i disagree. if this actually happens, it would be much better for us and the future iraqi govt for sadr to renounce violence than to make a martyr out of him. once again though, the liberal press has been made fools of.
civil war?
sunnis and shias working together?
iraq in revolt?
the liberal media simply wants us to fail

sure, he renounces violence to save his skin, and he lives to fight another day. His offer to negotiate is a sign of weakness. I say finish him off. If it sets off another round of violence, so be it. It will flush out the remaining fighters.
There's no negotiating with these people. They're fanatics.

I agree as well. There's always going to be another group that's going to want to bring us down.

That's right and he picked up on the points Streetsoldier made regarding CENTCOM, so he toned down his rhetoric in response. He would be more easy to handle than the angry fanatics left behind if he was 'taken out' in the final sense. Big hands with kid gloves time now.
