Snow pics from that Feb. 15th TN "event"...

#1 Postby breeze » Wed Apr 21, 2004 5:25 pm

So, ok - I'm sloooow! LOL, but, I diddled about on getting
the film developed (no, not technologically-advanced with
digital cam, here), and, then, I diddled about on getting my
brother to scan them. ;) But, we got that 7" of snow here
in southern-mid-TN on Feb. 15th, and, here are a few pics
to share!

This is the front of my house...kinda looks like a Christmas
postcard!

Image

This one is looking out the back doors, past the carport.
There is the front of the high school, slightly to the right
of the photo, not seen in this pic, as the snow
was REALLY coming down! (Alex the dog,
at attention, in this photo,
thinking, "What the...???")

Image

In this pic, the snow had stopped - see the front of the
high school in this pic, now?

And, Alex is chilling out, thinking, "Whew!" ;)

Great pics, Annette! I really like the 2 shots showing the reduced visibility.

Heck, you got more snow on that one day than I had all winter, and I'm about 3 hrs north of you! That's why I love weather; it sometimes defies logic and JUST ROCKS!!!! :D

We had a whopping 5.3", although if you add on the 3/4" of ice, we actually broke 6" for the year!
And I don't want to hear about your 39", you snow hog!!! j/k lol
