imho More likely just a strong low associated with a frontal boundry and a enhanced pressure gradient from the 1022 and 1030 highs, The qscat has a elonged circulation, the sat pic clearly shows frontal boundry associated and the surface map also has frontal boundries in the area.
I like it though..working on your observational skills before the start of the season.
