I can say HUC that the jet stream has been persistant in the ast 3 weeks in the northern caribbean and it is caused by a huge anticyclone in the tropical atlantic and the flow at the perifery of it is making that flow west to east from the caribbean to Africa from above 20n.

Very glad of your reply.Have you a site with the main position of the ST Jet?
The weather should not improve here,according to the local met office,before tuesday;and with the wave approching,significant showers is a great probability....
It's now the 11day,without sunchine in Guadeloupe!Very,very rare event!!!!
