Surface Circulation?

, and you may see a surface circulation circling northward south of Haiti.

You sure are right about that. That looks to be very well defined low level cirualtion center. In if it had deep convection around maybe a upgrade could happen. We will have to watch in see

It's just a little swirl in the clouds. Can't assume it's at the surface. Such swirls are quite common out there. The vast majority never develop into anything. Chances of tropical development remain quite low, maybe 5-10%. Shear is quite high in the region now as the upper-level trof is sweeping across the central Caribbean.

That doe's not look like a cloud swirl to me? It is much to large to be that. Your right on the shear being to strong for tropical development in the convection is being blown off to the north.

Looks like a very weak circulation to me. Not sure whether or not it will develop and it doesn't look to be entirely at the surface either.

Just a weak swirl, no convection, and too much shear. Give up, this isn't Alex in the making. Look somewhere else.
