This system was pitiful to my expectation

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

This system was pitiful to my expectation

#1 Postby Wnghs2007 » Sun May 23, 2004 3:15 pm

This darn broad area of low pressure is giving me a headache. I keep thinking that the shear will die and it will not. God I want a storm so bad. And this teaser is just getting on my nerves. DEVELOP ALREADY! Its early I know but heck, we are a month after the tropical storm that formed in April last year. It is possible. Just tell me I am not the only one. I need reasurence. :( :grr:

LOL... your gonna have a stroke by July, buddy.

Yes it's annoying, but it's only May. That April storm last year was EXTREMELY rare. Even activity in June doesn't happen every year.

Well if the season is normal june and july are in average slow months so time will tell if this season will follow that. :)

I know this. It feels like waiting for the end of the school year. It takes forever in a Day.

Of course it is gone. This had next to no chance of developing anyways

LOL Derek. We know you had no confidence in the system lol..

Seriously.. If you're waiting for a storm.. I want 1 bad too.. but try to wait for it to come.. Especially if we only have 2-3 by August or September. Remember late August and early September is when the tropics usually explode.

Yeah, the season starts next week but dont be too shocked if you dont see anything until late July or even August. Remember, nothing developed in 1992 until August 16th, but if you were in Southern Florida then, I'm sure it would have been well worth the wait (for those that like canes) when Andrew was being plotted right into So Fla and La... Be patient, the storms they will come
