Nearby storm damage this week

#1 Postby isobar » Fri May 28, 2004 3:18 pm

It's been a busy weather week for so many of us.
This damage report is 1.5 miles from my house. I drive by there every day. It's amazing to see huge trees snapped and toppled.
To show how isolated this macroburst was, winds were estimated 110 mph, however 1.5 miles south at my location, the highest wind gust I recorded during the storm was 34 mph.
