Some of those could be multiple tornadoes, but watching the local TV and weather reports here north of Kansas City may have this storm just popping tornadoes out in different locations. At one point, there were at least 3-4 possible rotations in that supercell near Cameron, MO.
As of right now, there are TWO very distinct rotations in the current supercell S of Bethany, MO.

I'm pretty sure there have been at least seventy individual tornadoes - not reports.
Sure a lot of reports occur for the same storm, but considering there are some very very powerful supercells out there right now some could have easily produced two, three, four, maybe five tornadoes in their life-span.
This easily pushes the number past 50 confirmed tornadoes.
Remember, last outbreak in NE and IA produced 80 tornadoes, and this pales that outbreak significantly.
