#1 Postby pojo » Wed Jun 02, 2004 12:22 am

:grr: Everyday prices go up about a nickel!!! Currently around Menasha prices are averaging $2.13/gal.... Green Bay $2.16! :grr: :grr: I'm glad I have a 98 Chevy Cavalier.... great gas mileage. But in my moms household, we have trucks..... gas guslers! Yikes, we throw so much money down the drain for gas! :grr:

Oh my favorite subject! NOT!

2.03 here for the cheap stuff. And i heard this morning it could top 3.00 in a month or so nationally.

This is beyond rediculous!

well lucky us gas prices just went down here in south texas Beeville from anywhere to 1.84 to 1.93 depending which part of town you are in. In the middle of town it is 1.84 near the highway it is 1.93. Lady I bought gas from today said it would go down again tomorrow a couple of cents or so.

Over a week ago I paid $2.13 for regular. This week, $1.89. I still only purchase Shell (first choice) or BP. Bought cheap gas years ago and almost ruined our lawnmower. Service guy said I was lucky - they simply drained the gas tank, since the gas was watered down and refilled it with quality gas. He asked if I had also filled up my car with the same watered down gas. I thought back and remembered my engine pinging something awful. He said never to do that again. This new Honda mower has had nothing but Shell. And now my car, 75% of the time. Trouble is Shell stations are hard to come by! But I drive right past all the other stations. Almost ruined my car and a lawnmower, to save a few pennies.

Well here the average price is about 1.84... for the cheap gas... I noticed that the price actually did drop over the long weekend.. It was sitting at 1.87...I was happy to see that!! There is a Walmart gas station right around the corner that is selling it for 1.80 a gallon, then take off 3 cents with the walmart card... 1.77!!! I almost pooped in my pants!!! (lol) and doesnt it figure, I didnt need gas at that time!!

Gas prices are holding steady here.. That makes me nervous because I think that means they are about to take another big jump

Paid 241.9 this week for me (premium required for my car) and 227.9 for unleaded this weekend.

We rarely order pizza but had one for $21 last week and gave the guy a $4 tip.

On the other hand, we had a guy deliver in a Hummer last summer, and that was just plain ridiculus. He got a smaller tip.
