Kind of a SLOW weekend!

WELL....I *though* the Memorial Day Weekend was BUSY and it was (that's what I get for thinking :lol: ) but NOT as busy as I suspected. According to all the numbers from the P/L Chamber of Commerce, Show Low CoC.......business was DOWN over 18% from last Memorial Day :cry: The reason? I would suspect "GAS PRICES" had EVERYTHING to do with it. While the traffic WAS heavy, the RV crowd was virtually non existent. Thanks BUSH and Cheney/Halliburton:grr:

i work at a hotel and our summer occupancy is already at an all time low. people simply aren't travelling any more than they absolutely have to. this in spite of fuel prices being conservatively low for the region... averaging between $1.98 and $2.09 a gallon.
