I went chasing this evening with my dad( I'm Not old enough to drive) it was a quick descion as one cell developed over lake Crystal. And a bunch southwards towards fairmont. We went towards the one in Lake Crystal. We parked on a gravel road and waited for the storm to pass through. There was a very ominous cloud that later was a well defined wall cloud. As we went on a little more golf ball sized hail covered the ground. So we quick gunned outta the hail shaft and went towards home, on the way home we encountered very strong winds and rain/hail. As we got in to Mankato it was raining very hard so hard man hole covers were coming out on one intersection. otherwise every street had 6 inches of water in it. We have almost 2 inches of rain right now with more coming.
I'll have pictures later this week.......I job well done with no chasing insturments just a illegal scanner in the car and a disposable camera lol but not our best when we chased a huge super cell that laid down 6 tornadoes and we saw 2 of the 6 so the lesson is DON'T WASTE MONEY ON WEATHER INSTURMENTS AND LAPTOPS lol

Yeah, The St. Peter Tornado is what got me in to weather here is a radar image of the St. Peter Tornado.....If the tornado wouldn't have jumped the river Mankato,MN home to about 50,000 or so would have been demolished.
