RECON

#1 Postby cctx » Mon Jun 14, 2004 12:22 am

For anybody who's still up -- wasn't recon supposed to go out at 1am(EST) ? Did it? How do you get links to the recon data? Appreciate any help on this. Thanks.

I believe they took off out of Biloxi... but I'm not postive.

You can go to http://www.met.tamu.edu/personnel/stude ... rface.html for the latest RECON reports. Just fill in KNHC for the station. Check click the radio button next to Raw Data. Then choose 5. Reconnaisance from the drop down menu. After that, click submit request. This is a pretty good site that is timely.

No problem at all. In a way, we're all learning the ropes. No matter how much knowledge one has, someone else always finds a neat or easier way to find information. It's great to be here in this "pool" of information sharing.

Recon was cancelled - there's nothing out there to investigate now, just a few scattered thunderstorms. Doesn't look like any recon today either. This system is dead.

Yus, they flew out from Keesler AFB. Right now, I rather doubt they send another flight out, but thats still several hours off.

Actually they didn't send the overnight flight like I thought they did. As for the other schedule flights for today... I'm not sure. Mostly likely they won't fly, unless the system tries to get it's act together.
