Just a note to say thank you, thank you, thank you for your wonderful input over these last few chaotic days. Your expertise, experience and thoughtful insight is invaluable to many of us on this board and we are grateful you take time out of your lives to share with us. Job well done guys! You set an example for me and I'm sure for others as well.

I join too to say to our proffesional mets and experts than you for helping us on with their anaylisis and discussing all the factors that led this disturbance to not be a bonified tropical system.I know that some will say Cycloneye helped too but I am not a pro met. :)

Luis, a round of applause for you as well. You have been an integral part of the team during all this. Sorry if I inadvertantly excluded you. A mere oversight on my part.

The most important thing that the pro mets bring is all the reliable evidence that with that data they can analize and get to conclusions about what to expect from a system in particular without causing alarm to the members.

Buoy 42001 is reporting sustained winds of 27.2 kts (31.3 mph) from the south at the noon reading. Looks like we may just have a TD today.
so if this is true then t.d.#1 is here already........:)
