I didn't miss much in Atlantic and EPAC

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I didn't miss much in Atlantic and EPAC

#1 Postby cycloneye » Mon Jun 28, 2004 11:06 am

Well If anyone in this forum noticed my absence for 8 days as my computer had a mild crash but thankfully the Atlantic and EPAC continue to be quiet so I didn't miss much.As june goes out without any developments IMO july will bring at least a couple of storms forming but time will tell.

Just missed 2 disturbances in the EPAC that never reach TD status. All the action has been in our active friend, the WPAC.

Yes Sandy it is remarkable how quiet the EPAC is despite those 2 close calls for TD's last week.Being on average more active than the Atlantic we would expect at least being at the C letter by now there but after Agatha formed in mid may no more TD's although some disturbances that had a chance.About the Atlantic the gates will open fairly soon and after that happens we will see an active basin as all the factors are comming together for that to happen but the question is when will Alex form.
