A LARGE AREA OF AFRICAN DUST IS MOVING WESTWARD ACROSS THE ATLC
AND E CARIBBEAN WITH EARLIER VISIBLE IMAGERY SHOWING THE EDGE OF
THE DUST S OF 25N/26N AND EAST OF 72W. THIS AREA OF DUST WILL
CONTINUE TO SPREAD ACROSS THE GREATER ANTILLES AND PORTIONS OF
THE BAHAMAS OVERNIGHT. IS BOUNDED BY SCATTERED MODERATE
CONVECTION FROM 30N-32N BETWEEN 65W-75W.

We have been inundated with African dust this year, causing some serious problems throughout the islands for people with respiratory issues and also negatively affecting our coral reefs. With little rain in our area the skies have been hazy a lot. When we do get rain, we're back to that beautiful Caribbean blue sky. The sat pics are pretty impressive!
