Is there any fruit or vegetable you can think of that is simply NOT eaten cooked or processed in any way? For that matter, is there any food -- in it's natural form -- that can ONLY be eaten raw?
Iceburg lettuce (and probably a handful of other lettuces) was all we could come up with. No one could stomach the thought of cooked lettuce.
Spinach can be raw or cooked.
Most other greens (if ya like 'em...blech!) get cooked.
All the vegetables we could think of can be boiled, added to soup, grilled, or pickled.
Watermelon rinds get pickled. Same with cucumbers.
A lot of fruits can be made into pies, jellies, or even sauces for meats (orange sauce on duck...hey now!)
Many meats get served cooked.
Milk can be processed, heated, made into hot chocolate.
I'm stumped...and thought I'd bring it to you guys.
