I want to give a BIG TIME thanks to everyone who participated in the show last night...I think it went very well considering it was our first effort. Thanks to Chad, Marshall, Barometer Bob, and especially Dr. Oliver for putting things together, getting the testing done and bringing the show to the air.
Thanks to cycloneye and floydbuster for participating and calling in, and to Jason Moreland and Rob Mann for providing some good info on East Pac climotology.
We were using a feature called WebTour. I didn't explain that very well last night, but you can follow along during future broadcasts by going to this address:

As we look at different images or models etc...you can see them live.
This will be especially cool when we actually have something to talk about in the Atlantic.
Also, I would strongly encourage anyone interested in following along with the tropics to pick up Team Speak. You don't need a microphone to listen in...and as the season progresses we will be live on Team Speak all the time (the Storm2K Forecast Team, plus you never know who may drop by) talking about anything going on in the tropics. It's definitely worth the few minutes it takes to download the software.

Again, thanks to everyone for listening and participating...it was fun.

THAT'S COOL!!!!! I'm sorry I missed it last night, but I didn't get in until 9:30 EST and I clicked the link but it said the server was down. And the posts on here were congratulating and praising the great job you did. So I figured it was all over. Darn!
I hope to catch a future broadcast.

Yes! At 9PM this evening (eastern).
It just occured to me that you won't have the web pages that I refer to in the live broadcast...so I'll see if I can set something up in case you want to follow along...I'll post the link here.
Thanks.
