Will we have a storm in the Caribbean and/or a storm off the coast of Africa over the weekend/next week?Or is it all hype and we won't see anything anytime soon, what do you think?

I say the wave in the Caribbean will determine the answer to your question. Just keep an eye on the wave in the caribbean as to me that seems to have the best shot at development right now.

I agree, the wave with the greatest chance of development is the Carib. wave.........

Looks like it may get a little more active next week as a couple of models are indicating a closed low out in the Atlantic east of the Carib. Of course models have done this a couple times this year already and they went bust. It is still somewhat early for looking out east of the Carib. for TC development but it is possible with the active TW train coming off Africa.

I hope the week of the 25th remains quiet, I have a Western Carib. cruise scheduled with calls in port to Jamaica, Grand Caymans and Cozumel. :P :P :P
