This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

the Bahamas blob does seem to be moving in a slightly southerly direction -- or maybe it's just the late hour and my eyes are getting fuzzy.

Possible

Dixie its possible it has drifted a bit south and it may wobble around there for the next 12 hours or so as theres really nothing to move it. if high pressure prevails to the north and east of the system then a slow....make that very slow..west northwest track is possible.

Not really. The main bulk of the convection is drifting to the SE but I think it's mainly just convection firing more towards the south of the system...and the LLC is basically stationary.

early vis sat pictures show it in about the same position as last night, with maybe a little more convection trying to get around it.
