Yes, there are several things that should be dealt with.

However, I'm still somewhat torn with the whole idea of one person overlooking all the intelligence agencies. My stepdad (a former agent) would roll in his grave if it happened. I have his email somewhere, shortly after 9/11, when the suggestion (at least amongst the intelligence circles) was brought up. He listed his views against it and I can't remember them all. I need to find that.

I voted "Yes", but nothing of substance will EVER get past the Democrats in the Senate until AFTER the election...and when GW is re-elected, the stalling will be worse than ever (unless the electorate wises up and sends enough GOP Senators and Representatives in to ensure that legislation does NOT stall).
