We all were watching 97L as it got tore apart 2 days ago, the surface reflection of the wave marched steady west and is probably at the western tip of Cuba as for as I can tell. The mid level circulation was much slower and this is what has been firing up overnight( surface obs. in Jamaica higher pressure than 24 hrs. ago). So it is kinda hard to say who's right concerning 97L, is it the surface reflection or the blob near Jamaica.

this by far is the best that 97L has looked in almost 48 hours. Let's hope for convection to continue through the morning and into the afternoon. It also looks to me that there may be a weak anticyclone (High Pressure) aloft.

Clouds tops have significantly warmed over the past hour, looks like it may fizzle down to nothing again. On the other hand, 98L looks pitiful as well. My eyes are on the COA.

Providing a theory that Id like some feedback on:
Since 98L was associated with a ULL, as it became stronger yesterday morning and into the afternoon, this is also when we saw 97L fire up as well(diffluent effect), now that 98L is getting weaker, it seems like 97L is losing some of that diffluent effect as cloud tops have been warming.
