Have some Hurricanes made it to the arctic? or Jan Mayen?

Not necessarily the Artic, but Hurricane Faith in 1966 maintained Cat. 2 strength up to 60º north, fairly close to Ireland. Of course, in re-analysis they might declare much of the track extratropical, but sometimes storms get up there. Hurricane number two reached hurricane strength at 45º north, and maintained its strength up to just south of Greenland.

I think Hurricane Debbie in 1961 made landfall as a Category 1 hurricane on Ireland.
