#1 Postby tailgater » Wed Aug 04, 2004 5:48 am

As of 5 hrs. ago the system increase from a 2.0 to a 2.5 (Dvorak intensity) which is normally given to a weak Tropical Storm. so do you think it will become Bonnie when the HH's get down there? :?: :?: :?: :?:

I think it'll be downgraded to a tropical wave, which surface obs indicate that it is (and has been). Sorry. It just goes to show you that an observer making a couple of wrong assumptions can determine a Dvorak number way too high for a tropical wave.
