This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I could be way off on this but this wave seems to hang on in the most hostile of environments. Many times when this happens in front of a trough, such persistent waves have a tendency to blossom when the tough begins to lift and the wave turns west as ridging builds in. Don't know if it will happen here but it has happened often in the past. Andrew and floyd come to mind as struggling systems that exploded when troughs lifted and the systems were able to then head west. Thoughts appreciated. I know I might be stretching here but Bobbi's gotta have a cane !
