I'd believe it with Camden, NJ. They are trying to clean it up and upgrade the waterfront which is directly across from Philadelphia. They have a wonderful Aquarium, the Tweeter Center (outdoor concert venue), the Riversharks ball team. I hope that it does continue to get better there.

I just went to the WARPED TOUR at the Tweeter center, ONLY and i mean ONLY that one block of Camden is actually nice, the rest of it is absolutely horrendous. The kid(actually 26) that drove us down, grew up in Camden(why?) and still works there(why?) and was telling us about how when he would go to work in a house he would always find body parts, bodies and weapons...... very sad and very sickk, it seems its out of control of the authorities in downtown Camden, once you get to Federal Street and towards the waterfront, the authorities have more of a presence and authority. Camden has definately become worse then Newark(scary).

Looks like Cary, NC is one of the safest cities, too. :) That's near Raleigh.
