No one has mentioned this on the forum. I have been lurkin for a while. Could we have a sling-shot effect or other fuji effects?

No, I do not think there is enough time for either to occur, especially the later. Bonnie should be on shore in 36 hours or so. Charley will be around the tip of Cuba then.
