NHC maps show landfall friday near Ft. Myers. Each day the
trend is a little right of the previous day. The odds are against Tampa landfall based on history, the storms always seem to landfall N or S of Tampa. I hope this pans out because there is nowhere for storm surge water to go, except into homes. Unfortunately this applies for most of the FL west coast. What info is trending the landfall Tampa north.
