TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS/TPC NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
1030 PM EDT THU AUG 12 2004

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON HURRICANE
CHARLEY...LOCATED ABOUT 55 MILES SOUTH OF HAVANA CUBA.

CLOUDINESS AND SHOWERS ASSOCIATED WITH A WESTWARD-MOVING TROPICAL
WAVE ARE LOCATED ABOUT 1300 MILES EAST OF THE WINDWARD ISLANDS.
DEVELOPMENT...IF ANY...WILL BE SLOW TO OCCUR.

ANOTHER WESTWARD-MOVING TROPICAL WAVE OVER THE FAR EASTERN ATLANTIC
IS ACCOMPANIED BY A BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED ABOUT 300
MILES SOUTHEAST OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS. THIS SYSTEM CONTINUES
TO SHOW SIGNS OF ORGANIZATION...AND HAS THE POTENTIAL FOR SLOW
DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
SATURDAY.

This seems to be the first one anyone around here (the big Caribbean neighborhood) is sitting up and taking note of as far as concerning us...when the old people talk, I listen.

I haved tried hard to posts threads about the wave off africa but today I had to bump many times 2 threads related to 94L but I understand fully about the interest of the people now with dangerous Charley.
