Air Force Met..

AFM.... is this the type of pattern we should expect for future systems this season (carribean/Gulf systems hanging the NE turn)? Curious if this will be a median pattern.

Who knows? I expect a lot of home grown activity...but this trough...and the other troughs and associated cold fronts...is very unusual for this time of year. We are getting into the mid-60's here and the dew points are upper 50's. That is unheard of...at least as long as I've been alive.

very unusual pattern...frost warnings tonite in the upper midwest...currently 46f here and dropping fast under clear skies... this is not a dog days of summer, reminds me of the aug '92....
