I under estimated Charley intensity at landfall
As I did with Alex, I grossly underestimated Charley intensity at landfall. I suggested a strong 2 or weak 3, not a strong 4. I did howerver correctly forecast landfall between Sarasota and Ft Meyers. I also correctly forecast Bonnie landfall as north of Ceder Key. I had forecast Bonnie as a hurricane which was wrong.......MGC

EVERYONE was forecasting Charley as a Cat 2 or minimal Cat 3. NOONE foresaw his rapid intensification. Please don't beat yourself up about it. We appreciate all of the hard work the passing on of vital information that you, Derek, DT, Stormsfury, etc. bring to us. We had over 9 MILLION hits yesterday so obviously that means there are many people that know where to come for up to the minute, vital information.
