I emailed Brian Hughes requesting the floater for 96L. This was what he replied:

Unfortunately the area that the wave is in, is too far east to be seen
accurately by GOES-East. We need to wait until the wave is closer to 35
degrees west to get in view of GOES-East.

Good response. atleast you can still get a good meteostat look. no floater yet though.
