DUE WEST!!!

TS Frances has been moving due west all day. Looking at the NHC five day map Frances should start turning wnw at about 45 degees west. That turn better start pretty soon, because Frances is almost at that point already.

I hear ya..Frances has strengthened so it might show a tad more poleward movement in the next 24 hours..it is behind schedule from previous forecast alrighty.. :)

Not going to be much change (in direction) overnight. The water vapor imagery shows nothing but the ridge for hundreds of miles to the west. The environment does seem a little dry so that may limit development short term.

I agree..not much change..after 24 hours says NHC..
