HOLY SMOKES!!!!!

#1 Postby StormCrazyIowan » Fri Apr 04, 2003 1:43 pm

Tornado Watch in southern counties in my viewing area!!! :o

...IN SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 3 COUNTIES...MADISON...ST. CLAIR AND MONROE

A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR TORNADOES IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS....

...IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 10 COUNTIES...PEORIA...WOODFORD...TAZEWELL...MASON...LOGAN...MENARD...SANGAMON...CHRISTIAN...MONTGOMERY AND MACOUPIN

So close, but yet, so far! Looks like we may see a few rumbles of thunder though real shortly! :D

and you too could see cells today with isolated large hail today. Exciting as the upper storm moves northeast over central Iowa today.

Very cold aloft and unstable. Thus more active than yesterday.
