Why the NHC not mention the consistant Euro model... ???

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Why the NHC not mention the consistant Euro model... ???

#1 Postby ericinmia » Tue Aug 31, 2004 5:06 am

Here is last nights latest run of the Euro model...
http://www.ecmwf.int/products/forecasts ... 00!!!step/

Why dose the national hurricane center, mention, or do anything with it. So far it has been predicting about the same path 9 runs solid now. It also was the model that nailed isabel and floyd... both similar storms.

Any ideas?

That model is echoing Andrew far too closely.
it would put her once again between Lafayette and Baton rouge over I10.
