Yes, large rain band from Fort Laderdale and north. Interestingly, another huge band from the middle keys streaming toward key west. Still clear and sunny here in the Upper Keys. We are often blessed, but not forever, I guess.

I'm with ya Typhoon_Willie out in Royal Palm. I walked around the neighborhood and saw every house boarded up tight. I know we'll lose power since we usually do in a strong storm. I'm going to have to depend on the radio...ack! We've got 8 people here. No sleep tonight I'm sure of that. It's going to be a long weekend. I hope the storm doesn't strenghten for all our sakes. Yes. I was just outside in the feeder band and it was INSANE! That was so fun! Id say about 45 mph gusts. Cant wait til 70 mph:).
