Very weak?

That is pretty low pressure my fellow poster.
It may not "currently" be what it once was before
but it is still a 100mph plus hurricane.

LOL

Need I remind you 100 mph winds can cause roof damage, destoy mobile homes and knock our your power for days(heck, 50-60 mph winds can do that).

Yes, it's weaker than it was yesterday, but it's not "weak".

Not to mention, torrential rains are definitely possible.

I wouldn't call a 100 mph hurricane "weak."

Isabel was 100 mph and look what she did.

959 mb = 28.32 inches. That's still pretty low for "everyday" occurrences. People started getting excited when Charley dropped into 969 mb.

Also, look at the last two 700 mb flight levels...

C. 700 MB 2762 M

C. 700 MB 2738 M

Heights in the core are falling too, so both point to a drop in surface pressure.

After cooling my jets after endless hours of analyzing Frances, I must say I was wrong earlier when I wrote her off.

She certainly still has a chance, and should be taken seriously until she's gone. Stay safe down there!
