New smaller eye developing
It appears on radar a smaller eye feature is forming in the west northwest quad of the current large eye

I can't ever remember such a large eye with a storm. I am wondering if the winds could be calm throughout such a large eye. If so it could provide a lull of several hours duration due to the slow moving storm.
I agree that the radar loop suggests it may be starting to fill in but it's sure got a ways to go.
