eye tightening, warm gulf stream waters = rapid development
also is it me or is this thing drifting WSW

This thing is not moving according to the latest NHC adviosry. I see it moving inland at the same latitude then get back into the gulf and make landfall somewere along the mississippi gulf coast.

Could be an illusion, but looks an AWFUL lot like WSW to me...

I mean on the floater click on forecast points and you will see that the center has went a little WSW.

What's that mean? Earlier landfall?

I think its going to come closer to Tampa when it exits. The floater with forecast point has the eye south of the forecast line.

well when is the next vortex message out, i would expect it would be a little stronger based on radar
