Eye feature survives trip to the south

#1 Postby Ziplock48 » Sat Sep 04, 2004 12:48 pm

Looking at the last frame Water Vapor Loop shows convection successfully making the trip through the western, then southern side of Frances.

Asmall portion is now circulating up the SE side. Best evidence I have seen for a new eyewall formation. Note that the diameter may be substantially smaller than the 60nm eye-feature we had this morning.

Comments from our experienced mets wanted. (all others, of course!)
