Miami-Dade/Broward line report

#1 Postby caneseddy » Sat Sep 04, 2004 2:54 pm

Well, at the Miami-Dade/Broward line close to I-75 where I live, I measured a gust of 55mph over my house...have been getting constant wind gusts of at least TS banging on my shutters for about an hour now

My girlfriend who lives 2 miles from my house lost her fence, all the trees in her yard and power; my house only has had power surges on occasion but nothing major

From Miami Lakes, a bit south of the line and west:

Heavy squall right now. Rain blowing in sheets. Some neighbors without power. Some with some small decorative trees down. Wind gusts to 58 at near by Opa-locka airport. By far, the worst of it right now. Although alot better than our friends to the North.

Take care all!!
