Eye shrinking noticibly
Eye stretches from shore to Lake Okeechobee, based on visual from Melbourne radar. I measured this distance on Street Atlas and its only 35 miles. CNN weatherperson pointed out smaller overall diameter of cloud cover on satellite pic. Could Francis be wraping up tighter to preserve its strength a bit longer, but in a smaller area? Or is it just losing strength alltogether?

its just filling in because of landfall.....the storm isnt winding tighter..evident from the eye wall on radar not being smooth circular anymore.
