Lots of trees reported down Pinellas and Hillsboro
Have some down already in my neighboorhood. Unbelievable and storm is only 1/2 way thru the state.

I'm sure many more trees will be falling....which is a reminder to those in the path of a storm to take a good hard look at where their cars are parked. Is there a big section of old oak tree--that could break off--right overhead? Or a tall pine that might get toppled in that direction? In some cases it's wise to move a vehicle from the driveway, perhaps to the side or rear of one's home.

I have a big tree that leans towards my house which has confined us to 1/4 of the house. My car is in the the garage but others aren't in the neighboorhood. Looks like the center is coming your way and towards Hillsboro and Pinellas. Hope this thing doesn't rapidly strengthen when hitting the Gulf and give us a serious backlash affect.

Unfortunately with that fast forward of speed plus the current winds speeds, I think we could get 75+ wind gusts.

Two of the houses across the bay from us are losing some of their shingles.
Some of the tops of our trees are snapping off, but the big stuff is intact so far. My ligustrum tree is doing much worse however.
The bay is choppy with waves and the water is bumping into itself. Looks like a crowded steet in NYC.

The 11AM track had the center moving off the coast north of Pinellas county which would have kept us on the weak side of the storm. Last three hours Frances has been traveling almost due west. Hope she is slow to redevelop once she gets out over water or we could catch some strong winds from the SW as well.

Neighbor just lost a huge 40ft. tree. I actually saw it snap and pulled up the roots. Unelievable that it didn't take out a house, car or power lines. POwer and phones are intermitten. I think the stuff coming thru Hillsboro may take everything out.
