Lake Worth's SST fell 5.1F within 37 hrs. due to Frances

To illustrate how much heat hurricanes can take away from the ocean, check this out:

The Lake Worth coastal station, located very near Palm Beach, experienced a 5.2F SST fall due to Frances. It fell from 85.1F (29.5C) at 3PM on FRI 9/3 to 79.9F (26.6C) at 4AM on SUN 9/5. Here is the link to the last 5 days of data:
