FL dodged a huge bullet with Frances

Just imagine if this had kept its strength as a Cat 4 or intensified as a Cat 5 as some people thought and traversed Florida at its slow speed.

We would have had another Hurricane Mitch situation of a strong storm just stalling off the coast and plundering a coast area. The damage and death toll would have been horrific.

Amen. Very definitely answered prayer in my mind. Thanks be to God for His mercy & grace. Obviously, many still need prayer... Frances isn't finished yet... But also let's be praying boldly that Ivan will turn out to sea and not affect land (including the islands!). We've had enough excitement...
